Another Day, Another Memory (A.D.A.M.) held their Annual Bowling event April 18, 2015 at Airport Lanes in Jackson, MI. A.D.A.M. focuses on child and sibling mourning, helping support many families through this very difficult time. Weekly group meeting are held at ADAM’s House, 3027 Wildwood Ave, Jackson, MI. To participate, bowlers only pay $20 to bowl 3 games and also have the option to participate in a 50/50 raffle and silent auction where individuals, local restaurants, and businesses donate gift certificates, gift baskets, products and other crafts to be auctioned off.
In addition to the event, the book “Another Day, Another Memory” available for purchase. The story, written by Amanda Payne and illustrated by Kayla VanDusen, is a true story written for Anne, a little girl who recently lost her little brother, Adam. The book is meant to help young children understand and accept their loss in a positive way and to always remember their sibling.
